Some days,
life is not at all what I thought it would be
Some days,
it is so very much more than I could ever have imagined
All my quiet heart can do
Is to take this one day
That lays sweetly before me
And gently cover it with love
Hoping…
That somehow
It will be a touch more beautiful
For someone
Somewhere…

Beautiful. The picture and the writing. I see a feeder on the dock. Catfish? That’s the kind of place I could spend long, summer days.

Good eye! It hasn’t worked in a long time but yes, there are catfish. I enjoy feeding them by hand some mornings. It is an awfully nice place. I’m afraid I over photograph it 🙃 but I do spend a fair amount of time here. Thanks for reading 😊

I don’t think you can over photograph a place; there’s always something new. I’d love feeding the fish and running around with those pups.

So true! I never cease to find something wonderful out there. Both are a great joy to me. Thanks! 😊

And Monet painted the same scenes time after time. It’s essentially the same in that you both are/were trying to capture the essence of a place ❤

You’re so right Suzanne. Sometimes life turns to one or another direction without giving the slightest notice. Embrace the day with love and gentleness. What a beautiful world, for all of us.
I love your thought, and I share your words. 😊❤️

Hi Isabelle, thank you for sharing with me your kind thoughts. Life changes rapidly doesn’t it? We never know what it will bring. I’m so grateful for the lovely bits that I never really asked for. But if you open your eyes, there they are. I hope all is well with you. May I dash you an email sometime, to say hello?
Thanks again. Please take care, suzanne ❤️

Life changes rapidly, it does Suzanne. I think there’re two kinds of changes, the first one we have no control of. Life is never predictable. Then comes the other type of changes, which are the ones that we’re a part of. We want to make the changes ourselves. When I read “the lovely bits that I never really asked for”, this thought crossed my mind. I think you might have given something to others without thinking of it yourself – love, compassion and kindness. All this came/comes back to you, in one or another way. Just some thoughts here Suzanne.
I’d love to read your emails. I thought about it myself but I wasn’t sure if it was appropriate to ask for your email address. I’d love to hear from you. This is my email address: isabellepan@hotmail.com
It’s a long comment, you don’t need to reply. I’m well, thank you Suzanne. I hope all is fine with you too. Take care, Isabelle ❤️

This is so beautiful to read…sometimes we think we are all alone in a moment where doubt exists and then we read that someone we have never met thought of us…this warms my heart, thank you so much, Ellie!

My absolute pleasure Huguette (did I get that right)! 😊 I so understand those doubtful moments and the way a far away thought makes such a sweet difference. You have done the same for me this day. 🌷
